Robert Hayden's work was ahead of its time, but his vision was derided in his time. Scholars and Creative Artists will gather to discuss the man, the significance of his work, and Hayden's continuing impact upon poets writing today, particularly a group of poets rising from Hayden's hometown, Detroit, MI.

These events are free and open to the public, but we do ask that you register for the conference.
