Students Present Papers at the 39th Annual Medieval and Renaissance Forum

Six undergraduate students presented formal papers at the 39th Annual Medieval and Renaissance Forum at Keene State College in Keene NH on Friday, April 13 and Saturday April 14.

All six originally wrote their papers for courses taught by Professor Thomas H. Luxon: English 15: Shakespeare, and Writing 5: Love and Friendship from Plato to Hemingway. They submitted their essays to a conference selection panel and they were among the few accepted for presentation. The students and their papers are as follows:

Hannah Mazonson ’18—Milton’s Humna Gods: Exploring Adam and Eve’s Prayers and Dream in Paradise Lost

Ethan Weinstein ’21—Viola’s Will in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
Yasmeen Reza ’21—A Man’s Man? Orsini’s “Manliness” in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
Matthew Fam ’21—The Plague and its Funny Side
