New Arts and Sciences Faculty to Join the Dartmouth Community

Thirty new faculty members will soon join 19 departments and programs across the Arts and Sciences. 

"I am thrilled and honored to welcome you to our Arts and Sciences community," Dean Elizabeth F. Smith said in a welcome message to new faculty. "You will soon join the ranks of an exemplary group of scholars, artists, and teachers who represent the heart of our campus."

Dartmouth's largest academic unit, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences encompasses over 40 academic departments and programs and works in collaboration with a number of centers and institutes. The Arts and Sciences at Dartmouth includes four divisions: Arts and Humanities, Interdisciplinary and International Studies, Sciences, and Social Sciences.
