Iryna Shuvalova is a poet, scholar, and translator from Kyiv, Ukraine, based in Oslo, Norway. She is the author of five award-winning volumes of poetry, including her latest collection Stoneorchardwoods (2020) named poetry book of the year in Ukraine. In 2009, she co-edited the first anthology
of queer writing in Ukraine. Her work has been translated into 25 languages and published internationally, including in
Literary Hub, Modern Poetry in Translation, and Words Without Borders, among others.
