Plimpton Prize winning author Isabella Hammad will read from her acclaimed debut novel at Dartmouth College, Wednesday, February 5th, 2020.
Plimpton Prize winner Isabella Hammad will discuss her acclaimed debut novel, The Parisian, which narrates with breathtaking mastery the life and times of Midhat Kamal, son of a wealthy Nablus merchant, as a window onto pivotal years (1917-1939) in the making of the Palestinian nation. The author will read passages from the novel and sign copies.
