A Dartmouth ritual since the 1930s, Sanborn Tea is held 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library during the fall, winter, and spring terms. All Dartmouth students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome!

Sanborn Tea is held 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library during the fall, winter, and spring terms. There is usually one herbal tea and one black tea available, as well as a variety of cookies. All Dartmouth students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to teatime in Sanborn Library!

Fall 2026 Sanborn Tea Schedule
Sanborn Tea will be offered 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library throughout the fall term.
Tea will begin the first day of classes, Monday, September 14. There will be no tea service on these days:
Thursday, October 1, 2026
Thursday, October 22, 2026
The last day will be the last day of classes for the fall term, Tuesday, November 17.
Sanborn Tea is on break during winterim and will resume again the first day of classes of the winter term.
