A Dartmouth ritual since the 1930s, Sanborn Tea is held 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library during the fall, winter, and spring terms. All Dartmouth students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome!

Sanborn Tea is held 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library during the fall, winter, and spring terms. There is usually one herbal tea and one black tea available, as well as a variety of cookies. All Dartmouth students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to teatime in Sanborn Library!

Spring 2026 Sanborn Tea Schedule
Sanborn Tea will be offered 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library throughout the spring term.
Tea will begin the first day of classes, Monday, March 30. There will be no tea service on these days:

Tuesday, May 26, 2026
The last day will be the last day of classes for the spring term, Wednesday, June 3.
Sanborn Tea is on break during the summer term and will resume again the first day of classes of the fall term.
