A Dartmouth ritual since the 1930s, Sanborn Tea is held 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library during the fall, winter, and spring terms. All Dartmouth students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome!

Sanborn Tea is held 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library during the fall, winter, and spring terms. There is usually one herbal tea and one black tea available, as well as a variety of cookies. All Dartmouth students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to teatime in Sanborn Library!

Winter 2026 Sanborn Tea Schedule
Sanborn Tea is on break during Winterim and will resume the first day of classes, Monday, January 5, 2026.
Sanborn Tea will be offered 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in Sanborn Library throughout the winter term.
There will be no tea service on the days listed below:
Thursday, January 15, 2026
Thursday, February 19, 2026
The last day will be the last day of classes for the winter term, Tuesday, March 10. Tea will resume the first day of classes of the spring term.
