The Meetinghouse Reading Series in Canaan, New Hampshire, run by Professor William Craig for the majority of its 38 years, features three literary readings every July. This year's features several writers connected to Dartmouth. Professor Peter Orner, whose novel The Gossip Columnist's Daughter came out this past year, read in the first one, and Professor Emerita Ivy Schweitzer and MALS professor Rena Mosteirin will read from their poetry collections in the last one, along with Catherine Tudish, who has taught at Dartmouth in the past.
