Popular Public Radio Series Will Perform Story by English Major Lauren Mills ’27

Hit public radio series Selected Shorts will perform "Ghost Town" by Lauren Mills '27!

"Ghost Town," a short story by Lauren Mills '27, will be performed as part of Selected Shorts at the Hopkins Center for the Arts on February 14th, Valentine's Day. There will be two performances—at 4:00 and 7:00 pm.

Selected Shorts is a nationally syndicated audio broadcast where great actors bring great stories to life. Each is a completely unique performance. This is the second year Selected Shorts will visit The Hop and that a winning student's story will be brought to life by a renowned actor, chosen from a contest open to all Dartmouth undergraduates. The actors this year are Peter Francis James, Ato Blankson-Wood, and Molly Bernard. In honor of Valentine's Day, the theme of this year's contest was "Entanglements," which could be explored in a variety of ways. Other stories on this theme will also be performed. Inspired by the contest, students will share their stories in a Valentine's themed Story Slam on February 12th at the Top of the Hop. All are invited.
