The Cleopatra Mathis Poetry & Prose Series welcomes writer and dogsledder Blair Braverman to Sanborn Library for a reading of her work on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at 4:30 PM.

Blair Braverman is a nonfiction writer and dogsledder whose work has appeared in This American Life, Outside, VQR, The Guardian and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the Iowa Arts Fellowship, MacDowell Fellowship, Blue Mountain Center Fellowship, and is an Outdoors 30 Under 30 finalist. Her first book, Welcome to the Goddam Ice Cube: Chasing Fear and Finding Home in the Great White North, is now available from Ecco/HarperCollins. She is currently training for the 2019 Iditarod, a 1000-mile dogsled race across Alaska. 

The Norwich Bookstore (http://norwichbookstore.com) will have books available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.
